INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Through a partnership with Riley Hospital for Children, St. Elmo's Steak House sold personalized bricks with etched names to benefit Riley Hospital Cancer Center.
The bricks sold from $150 to $500 dollars. Various organizations and individuals purchased bricks with their slogans or logos for a grand total of $16,000 to be donated to Riley.
"Thank you to all of the patrons from around the world who purchased bricks for this important cause," said Craig Huse, co-proprietor of St. Elmo Steak House. "Each person's generosity is now permanently marked outside of the restaurant and will serve as a reminder of how important Riley is to us and to the community."
In the past 10 years, St. Elmo's and Harry & Izzy's have donated more than $65,000 to Riley Hospital Cancer Center.
