INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - More than a thousand central Indiana students and school staffers shared a message about bullying Thursday.

Their anti-bully T-shirts filled the hallways and classrooms at Southport Middle School. It was all part of a nationwide effort called the "Million T-Shirt March".

“This is a great way to end the school year, to end on a positive note, to model our expectations for our kids and send them out to the summer with a wonderful experience to end their school year,” said Principal Brian Knight.

Bullying is an issue I-Team 8 has been covering for years. Monday night. WISH-TV is hosting Lee Hirsch, director of the movie Bully, for a special screening. Afterward, there will be a question-and-answer session with Hirsch.
