INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Wheeler Mission says their men's and women's shelters are both full.

The men's shelter has 124 beds, but Sunday night, the mission said more than 300 men stayed there. Their Center for Women and Children is also floor, with 20 women and children having to sleep on the floor Sunday night to avoid the elements.

With the increase in people, they’re also seeing an increase in the number of meals they serve. Wheeler Mission officials said they’ve seen a 10 percent increase in demand for meals.

The mission is asking for donations to help provide more than 1,000 meals a day. Donations can be made online at Wheeler Mission’s website .
