INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Crime Stoppers held one of their biggest fundraising events of the year on Saturday across six locations in Central Indiana.

Participants were able to bring their papers that needed shredded, electronics for Goodwill, and prescription drugs that needed to be disposed of properly.

WISH-TV helped sponsor one of the Crime Stoppers Community Shred-It Spring events at the Carmel Police Station.

The Carmel location raised a total of $6,133 and the total for all Shred-It locations was $24,413.

All donated money goes to anonymous tipsters who help solve crimes.
