INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A skull found in the White River in early July is not that of missing Indiana University student Lauren Spierer.
The Marion County coroner’s office said Friday that a forensic anthropologist determined the skull appeared to be from a man of east or southeast Asian decent.
The skull was discovered on July 8. The exact identity of the skull wasn’t immediately determined. DNA from the skull will help officials determine who it may be.
