INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Rick Clark stood just a few feet from where his mother was killed by a hit and run driver.

"I have been through tough times before, but this the toughest thing I've ever been through," said Clark.

Kathleen Clark, 63, was struck on Sunday night around 7 p.m. on the 2900 block of S Meridian.

A passerby did not discover Clark's body until Monday morning. Police had little clues to follow, until a bar across the street named the Thirsty Turtle checked it's surveillance cameras.

In the video you can see Clark walking just off the road. She walks off out of frame and that is when a light colored F-150 with a shell top comes into frame.

The truck quickly passes through the camera lens and then the crash happens off camera.

The driver left the scene, leaving behind shattered pieces of the truck.

"It's someone around here,"said Rick Clark. " There is a body repair shop there is someone who is coming in doing work and they are doing it quick."

Police continue to search for the driver of the vehicle. If you have any information on the crash, please call Crime Stoppers is waiting on your call at at 317-262- 8477.
