INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Indianapolis is getting closer to choosing its next Public Safety Director, after Frank Straub resigned and took a job in Spokane, Wash.

According to sources, Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard will meet with Indianapolis Fire Department Chief Brian Sanford and Homeland Security Chief Gary Coons on Monday to discus the Public Safety Director position.

The two are candidates for the position along with Assistant City Manager Troy Riggs from Corpus Christi, Texas, and Todd Keil, a former Assistant Secretary for Infrastructure Protection at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
