INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Super Bowl XLVI is giving a nod to its host city’s racing history at festivities surrounding the big game in Indianapolis.

Organizers are having what they call the Super Cars program, which will showcase 33 Indy Cars along Meridian Street in front of Monument Circle.

The cars will be unveiled on Jan. 27 and will feature 32 representing each NFL team and one extra car representing this year’s Super Bowl.

"Each Super Celebration Site will receive at least one car, and the remaining cars will be dispersed to key attractions to draw visitors to new areas, showcasing the variety of gems Indianapolis has to offer," said Susie Townsend, Super Bowl Host Committee vice president of Guest Welcome and Super Service.

The cars will be on display through Feb. 6. Fans will have a chance to win prizes by using FourSquare to check in at various cars and take their photo with the cars. View all the cars by clicking here .
