INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Metro Police have arrested a 19-year-old man less than four days after he allegedly crashed into a 15-year-old bicyclist and drove off .
Officers say around 10 p.m. Monday night, two teens were riding their bikes near 74th Street and Georgetown Road when one of the teens, a 15-year-old, was struck by a silver Volkswagen with a black hood. Police found the car later that night at Westview Hospital.
Police say Erick Hernandez, 19, was behind the wheel. He is charged with failure to stop at crash with bodily injury.
Paramedics rushed the teen to Methodist Hospital in critical condition.
