Suspicious fire damages westside home

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Indianapolis fire investigators are looking into what caused an early morning fire on the city's west side.

Shortly before 2 AM firefighters were called to a two story house on fire at 241 North Mount Street. 

The first units arriving on the scene reported flames showing from the front of the house.

10 IFD units assisted by 1 Wayne Township fire unit brought the fire under control within 15 minutes.

The house is occupied but no one was home at the time of the fire. No one was injured. Damage is estimated at $45,000.
