Suspicious fire destroys garage on Walcott

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WISH) - The Indianapolis Fire Department is investigating a suspicious fire that occurred in the 200 block of Walcott Street early Tuesday morning.
According to IFD, a 16-year-old girl who lives at the home heard a loud "boom" and alerted her family. IFD arrived on scene just before 4 p.m. and found the garage engulfed in heavy fire.
No one was injured in this incident. Officials say an unfamiliar and possibly suspicious car was damaged in the fire.
The residence has surveillance video, but officials will not be able to watch the video until power is restored at the home.
