Symphony announces fundraising totals

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - After announcing over the weekend that their fundraising campaign goal had been reached , the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra has released their donation results.

According to a release, the orchestra’s “Life. It’s Better with Music” campaign succeeds with $5.4 million from 2,036 new donors.

An additional $2.6 million was given from current donors who increased gifts and also contributed $500,000 bringing total dollars raised to $8.5 million.

Major gifts and pledges came from Jim Irsay and Herb Simon, among others.

All donors will be recognized on the ISO’s website.
