INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Indianapolis Tea Party Patriots gathered for their Annual Tax Day Rally Saturday afternoon.

Tea Party Members met at the Westin Hotel before taking to the streets to protest what they say is an intrusive and overbearing federal government.

Even in the rain, 1,000 Tea partiers marched on beating drums and spreading their message of limited government

The group's rally was designed to promote fiscal responsibility, free markets and a limited constitutional government.

Rally members say the 2012 election will be vital to their cause.
