INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The man accused of gunning down Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Officer David Moore was in court Wednesday.

Thomas Hardy was led into the courtroom cuffed and shackled for his pretrial hearing.

Initially, court officers said Hardy would not be allowed to attend the hearing because of his behavior in previous hearings. It is unclear as to why Hardy was allowed to attend Wednesday’s hearing.

In the hearing attorneys agreed to schedule another pre-trial hearing for 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 3rd.

Hardy is accused of shooting Moore during a Jan. 23 traffic stop .
