INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Three children have minor injuries and a driver is in critical condition after a school bus collided with an SUV Wednesday afternoon.
The accident happened at the intersection of 71st Street and Binford Boulevard shortly after 3 p.m.
A Washington Township bus carrying 18 North Central High School students collided with a Chevy Trail Blazer. The 53-year-old driver of the Chevy was extricated and taken to IU Health Methodist Hospital in critical condition.
Three students were taken to Community North Hospital with minor injuries. The bus driver was also transported to Community North to be checked out.
The accident is currently under investigation.
