3 teens hurt when stolen SUV hits home, tree

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Just before 3 p.m. Monday, Lawrence firefighters responded to a serious accident near 46th Street and Franklin Road.

Officials say three teens were sent to the hospital in critical condition after the stolen SUV they were in hit a home and a tree, in the 4700 block of Cotton Avenue.

Officials say one of the teens is at IU Methodist Hospital and the other two are at Wishard.

No word on the extent of the injuries caused in the accident.
