Three-time Indy 500 winner gets fans pumped at the pump

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Customers at a Speedway gas station Wednesday got a surprise: three-time Indy 500 champion Helio Castroneves - pumping gas!
He was at a Shell station in Speedway this afternoon, filling the tanks of unsuspecting customers. He even handed out tickets to the race.
Castroneves says after today, he has even more respect for his pit crew, who can do their pit stop in nine seconds.
“This might take - depends on how much fuel that she has - this might take, you know, seven minutes. We're probably about 10 to 15 laps down,” Castroneves said.
The event was part of a Shell promotion. Shell is one of Castroneves' sponsors.
