INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department arrested two people Wednesday after a police chase that led to a drug bust.

IMPD officers were dispatched to the 2800 block of Freeman Drive after receiving a call about a burglary in progress. Officers were told that two men were seen breaking into an apartment and then fleeing from the scene just before officers arrived.

Officers chased the car down Post Road and were able to stop the car. Officers identified both suspects and the driver of the vehicle was found to have a suspended driver’s license. Inside the vehicle, officers found marijuana.

The driver, Damon Fain, faces charges of driving on a suspended license and possession of marijuana. The other suspect, Latrell Gaines, faces a felony charge of burglary.
