BULLITT COUNTY, Kent. - Police in Kentucky are searching for two children who may have been abducted from Indianapolis.

According to detectives, a janitor found a note inside a bathroom of a Bullitt County, Kentucky truck stop Wednesday.

The note says a trucker abducted Josh and Laura McKae and planned to take them to his home in Hopkinsville.

The alleged victims describe the truck as red and white with the words "First Fleet" on the back.

Police say they have been able to track down a driver who matches the description.

Detective Scott McGaha of the Bullitt County Sheriff's Office said, "The person who did pass through here yesterday, he was a 67-year-old truck driver from Hopkinsville, Kentucky and they're trying to determine now what information he may have on this if there's anything to it."

Police say this could be a hoax, but add they still have to investigate.
