INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - One person was critically injured and another was in serious condition after a car crash in the Broad Ripple area Wednesday afternoon.
Officials said a black passenger car was weaving and speeding while driving northbound on College Avenue, potentially from a medical issue. The car spun out, striking a white pickup truck that was headed southbound.
The driver of the black car was taken to Wishard Memorial Hospital in critical condition. A passenger in the pickup was taken to IU Health Methodist Hospital in serious condition. Another passenger in the pickup truck suffered less serious injuries.
College Avenue and 42nd Street were closed off while officers cleaned up the scene. The roads have since reopened.
