INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Two people were injured when two vehicles collided in a northeast side intersection Thursday morning.

A 2008 GMC Envoy and 2008 Infiniti sedan collided at 71st Street and Briarclift Drive, forcing the Infiniti into a nearby ditch.

Firefighters worked carefully to get a 23-year-old man out of a car. He was taken to St. Vincent Hospital in serious but stable condition.

A 17-year-old boy was also taken to the hospital for minor injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
