INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - An accident involving a vehicle and a semi-trailer occurred Saturday evening southbound on Interstate 65.
Indianapolis Fire Department crews responded to the scene after being dispatched just before 7 p.m.
The accident caused front end damage to a red Oldsmobile and required two individuals to be extricated from the vehicle.
The two individuals were removed from the car within 20 minutes, according to an IFD release.
A woman in the vehicle was transported to Wishard Memorial Hospital in stable condition. The male driver of the vehicle was also taken to Wishard Memorial Hospital. He is in serious condition.
The driver of the semi-trailer had no reported injuries.
IFD was able to secure the interstate while on the scene.
