FISHERS, Ind. (WISH) - Fishers Fire and Emergency Services were called to two lightning strikes Friday afternoon during the severe storms that passed through.
The first call was to the 9100 block of Huxley Court where lightning struck a four-unit condo. Occupants of the units affected by the fire were not home, Fishers Fire Department said.
Alert neighbors were quickly called and able to contain the fire to a section of wall upstairs, according to a report.
The second call in response to a lightning strike was to the 9900 block of Parkway Drive. That strike caused electrical damage and charring. The strike did not result in a fire.
