Two vehicles collide in intersection

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Indianapolis Fire Department was called to the scene of an accident at 11:22 a.m. Saturday that involved injury and entrapment.

When crews arrived they found two vehicles had collided at the intersection of S. Harding St. and W. Troy Ave.

A 51-year-old woman was heading south on Harding St. in a black Kia Soul, preparing to turn east on Troy Ave. when she collided with a 39-year-old man driving a white Plymouth Voyager.

He was taken to IU Health Methodist Hospital in serious condition.

The accident is currently under investigation by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
