INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A fire broke out in a two story building Friday night when a burning candle was left unattended.

The resident of the home told firefighters he went to run an errand and when he came back, a fire was burning in his bedroom.

The resident used a fire extinguisher before running out of the home and calling 911.

Firefighters arrived to the scene in the 7500 block of Rimwood Lane just before 7 p.m. IFD was able to contain the fire to the bedroom.

No one was injured in the incident. The renter will be temporarily displaced from the apartment.
