Indianapolis (WISH) - The Richard L. Roudebush Veterans Affairs Medical Center on 10th Street will begin hosting a traveling healing arts photography exhibit today.
The exhibit is designed to provide a measure of healing the wounds of war through artistic messages.
The 73-piece exhibit is co-sponsored by the Indianapolis VA Healing Arts Exhibits, Dr. Worthington Indiana Chapter No. 3 Of the Disabled American Veterans. Support also comes from the Italian American Veterans Museum, the Independence Fund and Free on Board Healing Arts, Inc.
The exhibit is free and open to the public Friday through March 31 and includes digital reproductions of artworks and images representing World Wars I and II, the Korean Conflict, Vietnam, the Persian Gulf War, as well as Operations Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom and New Dawn.
There will be a ribbon cutting opening ceremony at 1 p.m. Feb. 15.
