INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Lines on election day to cast your ballot might be longer than in years past. The County Clerk told 24-Hour News 8 that with only one place for early voting, they aren't able to get in as many people.

Furthermore, there are less voting locations on election day and some of the locations have changed.

The Marion County Clerk, Beth White, says to be election ready.

"If you are going to vote on election day remember a valid ID, know where your going and give yourself a little extra time."

The deadline for early voting is noon on Monday, Nov. 5. Monday, Oct. 29 is the last day to submit your application for voting by mail. The county clerk says it’s too late to mail the application and you need to drop it off in person.
