Walmart has 'best ever' Black Friday

1.8 million towels, 1.3 million televisions sold

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Walmart is reporting its best ever Black Friday. Since the company’s events began at 8 p.m. Thursday, 1.8 million towels, 1.3 million televisions, 1.3 million dolls and 250,000 bicycles have been sold.

Walmart U.S. president Bill Simon says approximately 22 million customers were served on Thursday.

The company’s Black Friday plan included events at 8 p.m., 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. where shoppers filled their carts.
