INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Today is the last day to request an absentee ballot in Marion County, which then has to be returned by 6 p.m. on Election Day. In-person early voting continues, however, through next Monday at noon.

The deadline to apply for an absentee ballot is at 11:59 tonight. You can pick one up at the Marion County clerk's office, in the City County Building, Suite W-144, 200 E. Washington St., or download one here .

Voters can also cast their ballots in person at the clerk's office up until noon on the Monday before the election. Office hours have been extended from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day through the deadline.

Marion County Clerk Beth White said early voting will help voters avoid what could be long lines on Election Day. Precinct lines were reconfigured, so there are fewer precincts and voting locations have been changed.

You can check your polling location here . For voters outside Marion County, you can find your county's voter office contact information here .
