Water main break creates gyser in Geist neighborhood

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Water shot skyward following a water main break in a Geist neighborhood early Friday morning.
Just after midnight, residents noticed water shooting from a front yard of a residence near East 86th Street and Carroll Road.
There is no word yet on what exactly caused it.
Crews from Citizens Water got it shut off a short time later.
They worked through the early morning hours and had to dig under a neighborhood street to get the water shut off and repairs made.
Work wrapped up around 4:30 a.m.
