Westfield closes for construction Feb. 18

BROAD RIPPLE, Ind. (WISH) - Beginning Monday, Westfield Boulevard from Broadway Street to College Avenue will be closed for construction.
The closure is part of the College Avenue and Westfield Boulevard Intersection Improvement Project and City's RebuildIndy program that will fix storm drains, curbs and sidewalks. The project will take around four weeks.
Drivers will be able to take a detour on Kessler East Drive to College Avenue.
The Guilford Avenue Bridge over the Indianapolis Water Company canal will be closed for 75 due to maintenance starting March 1. Pedestrians will be still be able to cross through. Detour route is East Westfield Boulevard to Westfield Boulevard to East 64th Street. The construction will end mid-summer.
The RebuildIndy project was started in 2010 by Mayor Greg Ballard to improve city infrastructure. Click here for more program information.
