Winter storm causes headaches for truckers

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Whether coming into Indiana from the worst of the storm or leaving to drive right into it there's no question this winter storm system isn't one to take lightly.

"I've seen a lot of people in the ditch," said trucker, Chris O'Dell.

Despite the weather, some are braving the elements and hitting the road.

"I'm filling up my tank and I'm just going to head out," said Jimmy Musangali.

After nearly four decades on the road, trucker Jerry Albright knows not to mess with ice.

"I been out here 35 years with no accidents. I'm not going to start now," said Albright.

For the riskier among us, they're just hoping for the best; filling up on fuel and good wishes.

"I hope everybody stays safe," said Musangali.
