Woman buys wrong ticket and wins big

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A woman who accidentally asked for the wrong Hoosier Lottery Scratch-off ticket won $99,999.
Fannie Watkins says she never intended to buy a Scorchin’ Hot 9s ticket – she thought she was buying a different one. When a clerk at the Sunoco, located at 5208 West 10th Street in Speedway, handed her the ticket she decided to buy it.
"I never meant to buy this one," said Watkins. "I meant to buy another ticket. I really didn't believe it."
Watkins says she plans to pay off her credit cards with her winnings.
She is the third Hoosier to win this specific prize.
