INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Crews were called to the intersection of 30th Street and Fall Creek Road Saturday night to an accident where two people were trapped.

The accident happened shortly before 9 p.m. where two vehicles collided.

The Indianapolis Fire Department says a 36-year-old woman and a 7-year-old child were unrestrained by their seatbelts.

Both needed to be extricated from their vehicle.

Both were taken to IU Health Methodist Hospital in serious condition. The 62-year-old driver was released from the scene with no injuries, according to a release.
