INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Police say a woman broke her car free from a tow truck before her vehicle could be repossessed.
Police were called to the 11000 block of Hornickel Court after a tow truck driver called saying the woman caused a disturbance.
The tow truck driver said he was trying to tow a 2010 Chrysler Sebring from a driveway. He had the car strapped to the truck when the homeowner came out and got into the vehicle, still strapped to the truck.
She began to rock the vehicle back and forth until it broke the strap.
The tow truck driver says she may have broken the hydraulic lift, as it was leaking fluid onto the pavement.
The driver says the entire incident was caught on video.
