INDIANAPOLIS, IN.(WISH) - One person was hurt in a two vehicle crash on I-465 on the north side early Sunday morning.
The accident happened around 5:30 this morning in the westbound lanes, just east of the closed Allisonville Road Bridge.
Authorities say a semi driven by 53 year old Oakley Cook was heading westbound when a woman driving a Volkswagon apparently hit the median and bounced into and under the semi.
The gasoline tanker, owned by Marathon Petroleum Company was empty.
Cook was on his way to fill the tank here in Indianapolis.
The woman, who has not been identified, was trapped for a short time in the car.
Crews were able to get her out and she was taken to St. Vincent Hospital.
No word on the extent of her injuries.
