INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A 26-year-old woman was killed in a crash early Friday morning on the southeast side.
The one-vehicle crash happened around 2:30 a.m. at 9570 Vandergriff Road.
Accident investigators say the woman was the only person in the car. They say she somehow lost control of her Chevrolet Cruze and hit a tree.
The victim was wearing a seatbelt but died at the scene as a result of her injuries.
Alcohol is not believed to have been involved.
So far, police have not released the woman's name.
