INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Police are searching for two men in connection with a sexual assault on the city’s west side Wednesday morning.
Officers say a woman was parking her car at the Heather Ridge apartments when two men approached the car and demanded money.
The woman got out of the car, the men grabbed her keys, and tried to get into her apartment. Police say the suspects couldn’t make the keys work so they took the woman to the back part of the apartment complex there they sexually assaulted her.
After the attack, the men drove the woman’s car down the street and set it on fire.
The woman was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police say the first suspect is described as a thinly built black man who was wearing blue jeans and a red or blue shirt. The second suspect is described as a black man with a goatee who was wearing khaki shorts and a button down shirt.
