Woman shot, crashes into gas pipe

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A local woman is in the hospital Saturday morning after she was shot several times and then crashed into a gas pump, police say.
The shooting happened near the intersection of East 10th Street and North Rural Street, at a marathon gas station.
A hazmat team was called to the scene to clean up the 30 gallons of gas that spilled.
The woman was transported to Indiana University Methodist Hospital. Her condition is not known at this time.
