PERU, Ind. (Kokomo Tribune) - Three people were arrested Monday after police received a report of shots being fired at passing cars. Witnesses stated the shots were coming from a black Cadillac along State Road 218 in Peru.
According to the Kokomo Tribune , deputies located the suspected vehicle at the residence of John and Amy Osborne.
A search warrant was obtained by police on the residence and the car. Police say that the subsequent search revealed multiple weapons, cash, and a large stash of drugs.
Deputies believe John Osborne was the driver of the Cadillac and that Zachary Herschberger was in the car, discharging a firearm at other vehicles.
Herschberger was arrested and faces charges of criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon, pointing a firearm, and drug charges.
John Osborne is charged with aiding, inducing, or causing criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon, maintaining a common nuisance, and possessing and dealing marijuana.
Amy Osborne was arrested and is charged with maintaining a common nuisance, as well as possessing and dealing marijuana.
