Anderson woman dies in crash

LAPEL, Ind. (WISH) - An Anderson woman was killed in a crash Tuesday on Ind. 32 near Lapel, and two other people were hurt, 24-Hour News 8 news partner The Herald Bulletin reports .
Whitney Foote, 27, Anderson, was driving a Dodge Caravan that smashed into the back of a Honda Ridgeline pickup truck that was stopped, waiting to make a turn. The van then hit a cement culvert. The accident happened just after 4 p.m. Tuesday in the westbound lanes of Ind. 32 in the 7900 block of Ind. 32.
Danielle Barker, 25, Anderson, a passenger in the van, was taken to Community Hospital Anderson with minor injuries, police told the newspaper. Robert Prather, 53, Anderson, the driver of the truck, was taken to St. John’s Medical Center with minor injuries.
