LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WISH) - Lafayette police are seeking the public’s help to identify a suspect in an armed robbery at a convenience story early Friday morning.
Officers were called to the Village Pantry at 900 N. 14th St. at about 3:15 a.m. Friday on a report of an armed robbery. Witnesses said a man wearing a mask and armed with a gun got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a light-skinned black man, about 5’4” and 160 pounds, last seen wearing blue jeans, black and white tennis shoes, black gloves, a black sock cap, a black hooded jacket and a gray shirt underneath. He carried a chrome semi-automatic handgun.
