MONTICELLO, Ind. (WISH) - Indiana Conservation Officers say a man was arrested for operating a boat while intoxicated on Lake Freeman Saturday evening.

Officers pulled over Ashley C. Rollins, 32, of Rossville for not having proper registration displayed on his boat.

The officer detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage on Rollins’ breath and gave him a sobriety test.

Rollins failed the test and the results were recorded at .18%, more than twice the legal limit, the release stated.

Officers arrested Rollins on charges of Boating While Intoxicated and he was taken to the White County Jail.

Rollins was also arrested in 2004 for BWI on Lake Freeman and was cited last year for operating an overloaded boat, the DNR release stated.
