MADISON COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) - A driver in Madison County was sent to the hospital Saturday night after his car hit a tree, ejecting him from the vehicle.

Madison County Sheriff Ron Richardson says 61-year-old David Jordan Jr. tried to negotiate a curve on the roadway that was covered in snow when he went off the roadway on County Road 240 North at Scatterfield Road around 8:30 p.m.

This is in Anderson.

The car went down an embankment and struck a tree. He was ejected through the windshield and then struck the tree.

Jordan was taken to IU Health Methodist Hospital with a head injury. His condition is unknown.
