Fire damages laundry building at Scheidler Apartments in Muncie

MUNCIE, Ind. (WISH) - Fire damaged the laundry building at the Scheidler Apartments in Muncie Saturday morning.

According to fire officials the fire started in a dryer just before 10 am.

No one was hurt.

The fire caused some damage to the facility which is separate from the apartments.

Fire department officials say it was temporarily closed for maintenance and clean up but it has been re-opened.

No word on any damage estimate.
