HOWARD COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) - According to a release from the Howard County Sheriff's Office, a fire on US 31 damaged construction equipment in Howard County.
Officials say the incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday morning. Firefighters arrived on scene to find a semi on fire on the bypass of US 31. Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the flames, but the truck was loaded with construction materials that were heavily damaged.
Officials are still investigating the cause of this fire and have not ruled out arson.
