Fire truck crashes on way to I-65 wreck

BOONE COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) - A fire truck and medical personnel collided with a semitrailer Tuesday night while responding to a separate crash on Interstate 65.

Traffic was backing up before 7 p.m. Tuesday in both northbound and southbound lanes of I-65 in Boone County. The incidents were south of State Road 267.

No serious injuries were reported in the accidents, but two lanes of northbound and two lanes of southbound traffic were closed while crews cleaned up the wrecks.

As of 8 p.m., all traffic restrictions were lifted.
