BROOKSTON, Ind. (WISH) - A Jasper County woman died when the vehicle she was driving flipped on Interstate 65 west of Brookston on Monday.
Ruth Lehman, 49, Remington, was northbound on I-65 near the 188-mile marker at about 12:20 p.m. Sunday when the Infiniti she was driving drifted off the left side of the roadway, Indiana State Police said. She overcorrected and went into the ditch on the right side of the road and was thrown from the vehicle when it rolled several times, ISP said. She was not wearing a seat belt, police said.
