Icy roads cause multiple crashes on 69

PENDLETON (WISH) - The Indiana State Police-Pendleton District 51 along with officers from other agencies are working multiple crashes on Interstate 69 from the 214 mile market to the 242 mile marker, according to a press release.

According to Forecast 8, accumulations in places as bands of snow showers are falling across central Indiana Thursday afternoon. Meteorologists are asking drivers to watch for snow spots as they will be random in nature. Some areas may see up to 1 inch or so of accumulation.

The release said motorists are urged to use caution due to some lane closures through the area and also due to the icy roads.
