MONTICELLO, Ind. (AP) - An autopsy shows a Jamaican man who vanished during a boating excursion on a northern Indiana lake died from drowning.

Conservation Officer Lt. Dan Dulin said Friday that 22-year-old Okeen Andre Rashawn Daley drowned in Lake Shafer in White County. His body was found early Thursday about seven hours after he went missing.

Duling says Daley was on a pontoon boat with a group of people when they stopped in a shallow area and Daley and a few others entered the water.

Daley either ventured away from the shallow or stepped into a deeper part of the lake and vanished. The resident of St. Catherine, Jamaica, was working at the Indiana Beach amusement park on the lake near Monticello, about 75 miles northwest of Indianapolis.
